Why should I use CBD?
That is a great question and one that deserves an answer.
There are many CBD products on the market but the question we must ask ourselves is, are all CBD companies the same?
The answer is no!
What separates CBD Drip from other CBD products on the market is that we are a full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product.
Many CBD products on the market do not come from hemp but they utilize a low-dose THC strain of marijuana. You might think that this is better than hemp but you would be mistaken.
The term low-dose does not mean that it is legal. The THC levels are still higher than federally mandated levels. Because of this they have to remove the THC from the product. One of the biggest problems is that in order to remove THC it goes through a refining process that can use harsh chemical solvents like hexane and heptane to remove the excess THC.
Most of the time the trace amounts of these harsh chemical solvents are below federally mandated reporting criteria and therefore you might be ingesting these harsh chemicals without even knowing it.
Another problem is during this refinement process all other terpenes, cannabinoids, vitamins, lipids, nutrients, and compounds are remove from the plant. These parts of the plant have shown through numerous studies to have a beneficial properties for things like inflammation, anxiety, depression, and a host of other conditions.
The effectiveness of CBD can actually increase because these essential parts of the plant work in a synergistic way “the entourage effect” to provide you with a better and superior dietary supplement.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell the good CBD products from others on the market. One way you can tell is when you hear of a company utilizing CBD isolates in its purest form. When you hear this, you should be wary because all the other parts of the plant have been removed and all that is left is basically synthesized CBD. This is done by using harsh chemical solvents like hexane and heptane.
So having pure CBD might sound better than CBD Drip’s full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product but it isn’t.
Think of CBD isolate in their powdered/crystallized as calcium. Calcium is an essential for our health and well-being. What many people aren’t aware is the calcium needs vitamin D in order to be absorbed into the body. calcium has a synergistic relationship with vitamin D so that your body can absorb the calcium that it needs.
In the same way, when you take pure CBD isolates you can think of it like taking calcium without vitamin D. You will still absorb the calcium but you won’t maximize the absorption of calcium without vitamin D.
Similarly, taking CBD Drip’s full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product can be thought of as taking a multivitamin instead of a single vitamin.
We believe that CBD is most effective when it is kept in its extracted using a responsible CO2 supercritical extraction method to extract the CBD, as well as, other cannabinoids, nutrients, and compounds. This way you get the benefits of the whole plant instead of just the parts.
Many products state they use super critical CO2 or ethenal extraction but that doesn’t mean that it is free of harsh chemical solvents like hexane and heptane. Low-dose THC strains can first go through a extraction method but the problem is that THC limits far outweigh the federally mandated limits. In order to compensate for these higher than mandated THC levels they isolate CBD by using harsh chemical solvents.
But why do these manufactures of CBD not go through the same responsible methods as CBD Drip?
One of the main reasons is cost.
At CBD Drip we know that the best full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid products comes from hemp not low-dose marijuana. But do to legal restrictions by the federal government even US grown hemp is not allowed. Therefore, CBD Drip purchases their organically grown hemp from Europe; which isn’t prohibited by law.
Therefore, because of this the cost to produce a full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product is very expensive. Much of the competition tries to skirt the law by using low-dose THC marijuana strains which is not legal even if all the THC is removed.
Unless, the product is manufactured and consumed in the same state that product can be illegal. So for all those distributors and retailers be wary. The product you are selling to your customers is not only less optimal but it could result in your products being seized and your shop possibly be shut down by the federal government.
Because CBD Drip complies with all laws you can be sure your product meets all regulatory requirements and that is just one reason why our distributors, wholesalers, and retailers sell CBD Drip, because they know their customers want the best product on the market, as well as, a product that is in full compliance with the law.
We understand that some of these government regulations are archaic but at CBD Drip we don’t only use hemp over low-dose marijuana because it is legal but because a full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product that comes from hemp is better.
Possible benefits of utilizing a full-spectrum CBD product that doesn’t remove or destroy part of the plant is the additional cannabinoid compounds found in CBD Drip’s full-spectrum products.
Some of these additional cannabinoid products can be CBG (Cannabigerol), THC (?9–tetrahydrocannabinol : below maximum legal limits without using harsh chemical solvents to remove excess THC), CBC (Cannabichromene), CBGV (Cannabigerivarin), THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin), CBDV (Cannabidivarin), CBCV (Cannabichromevarin).
For instance, CBG (Cannabigerol) or Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA) seems to work in a synergistic way with other cannabinoids including CBD to provide overall synergy and balance.
When using low-dose THC strains and isolating CBD isolates you are removing CBG, CBGA, and other beneficial properties from the end product, and thus may not be as beneficial as a full-spectrum CBD product.
Another benefit to using organically grown industrial hemp as CBD Drip does is that testing of industrial hemp has found to have much higher levels of CBG than most strains of cannabis. Testing has shown that levels of CBG can be up to nine times as high, as well as, maintaining a low THC level; which is lower than federally mandated limits.
So by using industrial grown hemp we not only retain these terpenes, cannabinoids, vitamins, lipids, nutrients, and compounds but level of these components can be higher than most strains of cannabis.
So when you are looking for a CBD product and you are asking, why you should take CBD Drip over other CBD products?
You should say I want CBD Drip because its full-spectrum CBD-rich whole plant cannabinoid product that retains all the parts of the plant to deliver a product that is free of harsh chemical solvents like hexane and heptane.
